The Process

Company Insight is a text-based interview conducted by our analysts and released to the ASX by the listed client company.

This is achieved via the following process:

  1. Company Insight and the client company develop an interview topic which they believe would benefit stock market investors through greater analysis. This could be on any topic which gives investors better insight - for example, explaining geological results in "layman's terms".
  2. The questions are posed by the Company Insight analysts and answered in a conversational text-based interview.
  3. Company Insight's highly rated ex-stock broker analysts ask the questions they believe the market would benefit from by hearing greater explanation.
  4. The interview is recorded over the phone and then transcribed by Company Insight.
  5. Company Insight edits the interviews for clarity, while not changing the substance. This requires in-depth knowledge of the client company and the industry in which the client operates.
  6. The client company is then able to make as many changes as it wishes to the transcript to ensure its accuracy.
  7. Once the client company and Company Insight are happy with the accuracy, completeness and flow of the interview, the interview is lodged with ASX by the client company (through a PDF provided by Company Insight).
